Baviera Golf is located in the foothills of the Sierra de la Almijara (east of Malaga), just 500 metres from Caleta de Vélez, with its marina and magnificent beaches.
The course is mostly flat and is characterised by large greens, a wide variety of obstacles that offer a variety of strokes, and an ideal design for all types of handicap.
The 18-hole, Par 71, Baviera Golf course was built in 1992 by international golfer José María Cañizares.
The parkland course measures 6050 metres in length, not long by modern standards but ideal for most golfers. It offers a variation of holes with unsurpassable views both to the Mediterranean and the mountains that protect it.
With thoroughly irrigated fairways it plays longer than the card would show at first glance.
The Baviera Golf clubhouse interior brings together modern lines with a twist of warehouse styling.
The golf club is centered around the clubhouse, where you will find the Pro shop, changing rooms, caddy master, and the Ménade Restaurant where you can relax and sample traditional dishes.
The outside terrace of The Fairways offers magnificent views and is a great place to catch up with friends and recharge your batteries once you have left the golf course.
