Designed by the great Severiano Ballesteros and first opened in 1995, the Oliva Nova course is set within beautiful natural surroundings and features sprawling fairways, 10 man-made lakes and smooth undulating greens. Buggies are available at the course, however, they are not necessarily required as the course is fairly flat and fairly easy to walk.
The course is fairly long at 6312 m, a par 72 and features a traditional format of four par 4’s, four par 5’s and ten par 4’s. Overall the course is a real challenge for golfers of all abilities.
If you are looking to hit the course record you will have to match the 9 under par score of 63, which was carded by Spanish golfer, Miguel Ángel Jiménez back in 1999.
There are many excellent facilities for you to enjoy while at the course including a clubhouse, pro-shop, bar, restaurant, driving range and fully equipped practice area.
