Opened in 1991, as part of the Pestana Group’s portfolio, the Gramacho Golf Course is surrounded by almond and carob trees.
Ronald Fream teamed up with Nick Price to create Gramacho’s unique design. Starting life as a 9-hole course, the Gramacho Golf Course, over the years, has been extended and is now a fully-fledged 18 hole golf course requiring excellent club choice and accuracy to get around with a low score.
Measuring 6,107 metres, the par 72 parkland course features 27 greens and numerous tee points. The course is beautiful and incorporates the natural and traditional landscape of the local area utilising the historical dry stone walling, ancient trees, lakes and natural stone outcrops.
The interior of the Gramacho Clubhouse is warm and cosy making it the perfect place to relax after a round of golf.
Its friendly atmosphere draws you in and invites you to grab a cold beverage and head to the outside decking area to enjoy the incredible views over the 18th hole.
