Designed by course architect Antonio García, the 18-hole, par 71, Flamingos golf course opened in 2001.
In its short history, Flamingos Golf has gained international recognition for its exceptional quality. It has proudly hosted the European Seniors Tour in 2002, 2003, and 2004, as well as the Ladies European Tour (LET) in 2010, solidifying its reputation as a world-class course.
The greens are generously sized, while the front nine’s fairways are slightly narrower, demanding precision play. Bermuda grass covers most fairways, with specific holes featuring other grass types. The greens and tees are sown with Pencross.
The tenth hole, a challenging par 4, introduces water hazards. A well-placed tee shot is crucial for navigating the expansive and undulating green.
Without a doubt, it holds a distinguished position as one of the top golf courses in the Malaga region.
