How to Book

Below you can see our terms and conditions. Please also see our frequently asked questions page to answer any questions you may have about our services.

You can book via e-mail or telephone and once we have confirmed the package you would like to book including arrival and departure dates we then require a deposit to secure the booking.On receiving the deposit we will send you a full booking confirmation (Tee times, hotel and transfer or car hire confirmation).

All packages are charged in Euros unless otherwise agreed in Sterling, all payments must be made to:

Leisure and Travel 4 U Spain SL (Bonded Travel Agent – No: C.I.A.N 296852-2).

We require 50.00 Euros deposit per person to secure your booking.

We require the balance no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival. If the booking is made less than 8 weeks prior to arrival the full payment is required.

All cancellations must be received via fax or e-mail no later than 6 weeks before your arrival date.

We strongly advise that you take out adequate insurance cover. Leisure and Travel 4 U Spain SL accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury.

Methods of payment.

Credit card or International bank transfer (0.65% fees apply to credit card payments, International transfer is at the discretion of your bank).

Golf Course – Important Information and Etiquette

Handicaps

Most golf courses have a maximum handicap of 28 for Men and 36 for Women. It is recommended that you bring a handicap certificate with you for every golfer as some courses may not allow you to play without one. Learn more about golf handicaps in Spain.

Soft Spikes

Almost all of the golf courses require soft spikes, and will not allow play without them. Many courses will offer to change your spikes for a small fee.

Course Etiquette

Please observe normal golfing dress code and behaviour, you must have golf shoes and a shirt with a collar (No trainers or Jeans will be allowed on any golf course).

Buggies

Where buggies are included in your green fee this will be clearly shown on your documentation. Where they are not included we will reserve buggies where possible if requested, these will need to be paid for on arrival at the course.

Golf Equipment

Due to the increasing costs being imposed by airlines to bring your own golf clubs you may find it cheaper to hire them with ourselves. Please contact us for a competitive quote.

Spanish Golf Federation Fee

Some golf courses in Spain charge 3€ per player for golf insurance, this will need to be paid for at the course.

Course Closures

In the event of rain a course may decide to close. If the course is closed, Golf 4 U Spain will refund your green fee (Prior to confirmation of closure from the golf course). If a course stays open, no refunds are available.

Accommodation

The accommodation is normally available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and you are asked to vacate by 11.00am on the day of departure, this can vary by supplier and unfortunately we have no control over this.

Car Hire

You will be met in arrivals by our car hire representative and taken to your car; all your paperwork will be completed by email prior to your arrival.

Airport Transfers

You will receive details of your airport transfer by email along with your confirmation including contact numbers in case of any problems, you will be given a pick up time for the return journey and it is very important that you are ready by this time, drivers will not wait more than 15 minutes outside this time due to the impact on other transfers that may be booked.

Disturbances

At golf venues, we accept no responsibility for the loss of green fees or deposits where a person is refused play due to unacceptable behaviour, nor are we responsible for accommodation, deposits etc., these are forfeited at hotels/self-catering/resorts due to unacceptable behaviour.

Travel Documents

Your vouchers for golf and accommodation will be supplied on arrival, please ensure you have your vouchers with you to give to the Caddy Master. Please report to the Caddy Master 30 minutes prior to play time. Accommodation/Car Hire and Transfer vouchers must be handed to the supplier on arrival.

All prices are based on local VAT (IVA) and will be subject to changes should the local rate change.
