Location

Amendoeira Golf Resort is set across 270 hectares of Algarve countryside near the historic town of Silves, backed by the Monchique mountains and surrounded by almond and olive groves. It’s a peaceful, rural base rather than a beachfront hotel, though the lively beach town of Armação de Pêra is only a short drive away. The resort is home to two golf courses, including the acclaimed Faldo Course and the O’Connor Jnr Course.

Rooms

Accommodation is spread across Moorish-inspired apartments and villas, featuring arched details, tiled courtyards and private terraces. Guests can choose from ground-floor one-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom duplex apartments with a mezzanine level, and larger villas with their own private pool — making it a flexible option for couples, families or groups travelling together.

Facilities

The resort’s Sports Centre includes a fully equipped gym, two floodlit padel courts and six Savannah tennis courts, alongside a swimming pool and playground suited to families. Dining options range from the Clubhouse Restaurant to the poolside Garden Deck, with menus mixing local Algarve flavours with international dishes. The resort also hosts events, from weddings to corporate gatherings, in its landscaped grounds.
