Golf Course Information

Guadalmina Real Club de Golf – North & South Courses

Guadalmina South

Guadalmina South course is one of two courses at the Guadalmina Golf Club.

Designed in 1959 by Javier Arana, the 18 hole, Par 72 south course is the older of the two and is well known for being a real challenge even for the more experienced golfers.

Your driving will have to be good as the fairways are narrow and are well protected by mature native trees.

Guadalmina North

The second of the courses and opened in 1973, the Guadalmina North course is also an 18 hole course, with a Par of 72.

It is a little shorter than the south course, measuring a total of 5,600 metres from the white tees. The course is also hillier than the south course and features more water hazards. You will need to make sure your drives are straight so as to avoid them.

Located in San Pedro de Alcantara with its narrow streets packed with small shops, sidewalk cafes and bars, the Guadalmina Golf Club is just 19 minutes from the upmarket glitzy resort of Marbella with its many shops, bars and restaurants and 43 minutes from Malaga – Costa del Sol Airport.

Par 3 Pitch and Putt Course

As well as the two 18 holes golf courses, the Guadalmina Golf Resort has a Par 3, nine-hole course.

 

Driving Range

There is also a 40 bay grass driving range, a 21 bay covered area, chipping and putting green and a practice bunker.

 

Cafeteria

The cafeteria was completely renovated in 2007 by interior designer Mercedes Obieta.

It offers a very warm welcome, and you can choose to dine inside or outside on the terraces.

Snacks, including sandwiches, baguettes and burgers are served with three-course meals and drinks also available.

The restaurant menu offers a vast choice of fish, meat, rice, wok and pasta dishes, salads and a daily menu.

The cafeteria opens at 08:00 and dinner reservations can be booked in advance.
