Golf Course Information

Designed by the legendary golf architect Robert Trent Jones Sr, the Quinta da Marinha course is a stunning course.

Located in Cascais on Portugal’s southern coast, and first opened to the public in 1984, the Quinta da Marinha course is the perfect challenge for golfers of all abilities.

Offering majestic views to the Atlantic ocean and the Sintra Mountains, the course is a Par 71 and measures 5,870 Metres in length.

To shoot a good round at the Quinta da Marinha course you will have to make use of all of the clubs in your bag.

The course features elevated greens and tees along with a fair amount of water hazards and sand traps.

All of the holes on the course are different with a number of iconic holes coming into play including the Par 4, 3rd which was used to promote golf in Portugal for many years and the Par 5, 18th which features two large lakes just waiting to catch your wayward shots.

The course has hosted a number of professional competitions over the years including the Ladies Masters in 1988, the PGA Seniors Championship and the Challenge Tour in 2007.
