Course Information

Quinta de Cima Golf Course

Quinta de Cima is the championship course at Quinta da Ria, set in the Eastern Algarve close to Vila Nova de Cacela. Designed by Rocky Roquemore and opened in July 2002, this is a classic par-72 layout that rewards confident ball striking and sensible course management.

Often considered the more testing of the two courses at the resort (alongside Quinta da Ria), Quinta de Cima is shaped by the natural Algarve landscape, with ancient carob and olive trees, well-placed bunkering and water coming into play on key holes. The greens are known for their movement too, so approach play and touch on the putting surfaces can make all the difference.

With wide fairways in places, plenty of strategic options from the tee, and a strong championship feel throughout, Quinta de Cima is a brilliant choice for golfers who enjoy a course that asks questions on every hole while still being playable for a wide range of handicaps.
