Golf Course Information

The Salgados golf course is located in Herdade dos Salgados close to the popular Albufeira and is a wonderful course in which to savour the natural environment of this particular part of the Algarve.

The course is close to Salgados beach and the Salgados Lagoon Nature Reserve, which is evident in the fact that the majority of the golf holes are flanked by lagoons.

Designed by Pedro Vasconcelos and first opened in 1994, the course measures 6,140 metres from the white tees and is a par 72.

Overall, the course is very technical and will require a consistent and accurate round in order to shoot a low score. Look out for holes 7, 8 and 15 which are considered by many to be the nicest holes on the course if not the whole region!

Stop off at the clubhouse before and after your round an enjoy the facilities on offer which include a bar and restaurant, practice chipping and putting greens, golf shop and much more.
