The parkland course was inaugurated in 2005, measuring 5,381 metres. Designed by Gaunt and Marnoch, Zagaleta New Course is nestled within a 900-hectare private estate, offering golfers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding mountains.
The course’s design ensures it integrates seamlessly with its natural environment, providing a tranquil and exclusive golfing experience. Players can expect a variety of challenges, including sharp doglegs and strategically placed obstacles, making accuracy and strategic play essential.
The New Course clubhouse is smaller than the Old Course clubhouse, giving it an elegant and cosy feel.
All facilities can be found here, including the pro shop, buggy and caddy hire, restaurant, bar, and lounge area. Outside is a broad thatched terrace that overlooks the greens and lake, extending down to the Mediterranean Sea.
Traditional golf attire is required. The following are not permitted:
